Mid-State Health Center Governance

Mid-State’s board offers a diverse skill set and is well-engaged in the mission of our organization. The Board’s strong commitment to guiding the Health Center and serving the community is evident in our success.

Health center governing boards are comprised of individuals who contribute their time and energy to creating an operationally and fiscally strong organization for the purpose of improving the health of their communities and populations. Mid-State is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center and our Board must meet certain requirements. As part of the requirements, at least half (or more) of our Board members must be consumers of the health center and the overall composition of the Board has to reasonably represent the community we serve.

Ou Board is committed to the health of the community we serve and to Mid-State’s mission to provide sound primary health care to the community accessible to all regardless of the ability to pay.
